Shuttle Driver

Description
Enhances the customers' positive service experience by driving them to or from the Dealership or H-M Motorsports.

Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following (other duties may be assigned):

- Reports to work as scheduled as this is an essential position in daily operation of Herzog-Meier
- Greets all incoming and outgoing guests in the service drive and write-up areas
- Drives customers to or from the Dealership or H-M Motorsports.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Keeps a timely shuttle route.
- Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
- Operates cell phone to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
- Notifies general service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, and general maintenance.
- Maintains a professional appearance both in personal appearance and shuttle vehicle appearance.
- Maintains proper working schedule: works assigned days and hours, calls and schedules an alternate shuttle driver to cover if you can not work your normal shift.


Marginal Duties
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

- Keeps shuttle vehicle clean & washed, inside and out and keep vehicle fueled
- When not shuttling will help the Service Porter, greet arriving guests and keep the Service write-up and Drive area clean.
- Daily during slow periods check the Volvo Loaner cars to ensure they are clean inside and out.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak the English language fluently. 

REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to communicate & reason with a guest in the event they become irritated. Report all incidents of irritated guests to the General Service Manager or H-M Motorsports Manager depending on the department the guest originated.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and insurable Oregon State driver's license.
